Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. VanillaCity is free to play, with nothing to pay to get started. Everything in town is bought with coins you earn by playing. VanillaBucks, the town's second money, are earned in the game too, and can also be bought in the store if you'd like to support the town.

Who is it for?

Anyone 13 or older. The chat has a word filter and an automatic police ladder, everyone signs the city rules on their first day, and staff are around to answer reports. There's a page for parents and guardians.

Can I play with my friends?

Yes. Everyone who's online is in the same town. Add each other as friends to see who's in and where, visit each other's homes, sit down for chess, send postcards and gifts, and trade.

What do I need to play?

An up-to-date browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Or download the game for Windows 10 and later, or Android 7.0 and later. Your citizen is the same everywhere.

What happens to my data?

The Privacy Notice says what the town keeps and for how long. You can download everything the town has about you, or ask for your account to be erased, from the Menu in the game.

How do I report someone?

Open their card in the game and choose Report, or tap what they said in the chat log. Staff see every report. You can read the city rules any time.
